This August, 2010, the people of Sts Peter and Paul collected money/supplies to create ten BackPacks for needly children at Harding Elementary School, near the Church. Heading the project was Donna Benedict, assisted by her husband Mike, and MaryAnne Hildebrandt and Elise Heald.

The first two pictures show the assembly of the BackPacks, while the last picture shows Elise delivering the completed Backpacks to the School Principal, Claudia Montano.

Christmas 2009

At Christmas 2009, the people of Sts Peter and Paul collected enough food for a full Christmas Dinner (turkey included) for a family of 4, with enough extra food to last for several days. About 31 of these Christmas Baskets were filled, and were distributed with the help of our brothers and sisters in Christ at Edwards Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church in El Centro.
